FAQ

How do you dry my floral?

We submerge your fresh floral in silica crystals for a couple weeks which dehydrates the floral while doing its best to preserve the color and shape of the bloom when we place it inside.

Please know that there of course are going to be slight changes to the color/tone of your blooms once they are dried. They are technically dead, after all! To see photo examples of what fresh floral looks like after it is dried, check out our photo gallery here.

Can I provide my own pre-dried floral?

Absolutely! The only thing we like to note about when we use pre-dried floral, your flowers might not look as crisp/colorful as the floral we dry here fresh, and the design is more susceptible to air bubbles in the final design.

What is the Turnaround time for my order?

The minimum turnaround time for our orders from start to finish are around 6+ months.

Can you recreate flowers from my bouquet if I don’t have the blooms anymore?

For sure! If you can provide us a couple photos of what your bouquet looked like, we can dry new floral to recreate the look of your bouquet. This option may take a little longer though than the orders where we are given fresh floral. For example if your bouquet had dahlias in it, we need to wait until the fall until we can get fresh dahlia’s to dry.

Do you only preserve floral from Nikki’s Perfect Petal Designs?

No way! That doesn’t matter one bit. Yeap, we are all in the same building and the same gal’s from over at NPP but we can dry your floral from whomever. 🙂

How soon should I bring in my floral to start drying?

As sooooooon as possible! The sooner you can get it to us & we can get it in the sand, the better they look dried.

How often will you communicate with me along the way?

We will talk about crafting your custom order, a confirmation that we got your bouquet, and then we will email you when your order is up next to be completed. 🙂 Then, of course we will let you know when it is done!
